Captured Moments Photography

Now into December we start showing the wintry scenes, as promised! To start off the Christmas spirit are a couple of images from one of my favourite places, Dalmain estate near Penrith, just inside the Lake District. After snowfall the land is transformed into a new world, and the old house looks just the same as it did centuries ago. The second picture shows the courtyard of the great house, the striking shadow across the stonewall giving a strong focal point to the image.
