Ingleton Waterfalls

j.jpg

This is one (or should I say two!?) of the smaller waterfalls at Ingleton Falls, a lovely walk not far from where I live. I like the whiteness of the fast flowing water and the autumn leaves that have got caught underneath the surface.

Just chill out!

Just look at this little fella! I took this image whilst in Tenerife at the Jungle Park. Its such a comical pose from the little critter, hes happily hanging about, asleep in the sunshine! Wonderful!

Dusk

DSCF0113.jpg

I took this image at dusk, just before complete darkness set in. You can see the sun beds at the bottom of the image and the sea. I like the feeling and mood of the image, created by the light.

Engaged!

DSCF0055.jpg

Today I can reveal the highlight of my holiday in Tenerife! This image is of Mount Teide, just after I had asked my girlfriend to marry me at the top!! If you look closely you can see a little hut, just to the right of the summit, here I got down on one knee (the good old fashion way!) and began the life sentence!!

Night vision!

DSCF0039_1.jpg

I took this image at night as a part experiment. My camera has a night image taking facility which maximises any light. So I placed the camera on a rock next to where the waves were crashing in, this being the result! There was an exposure time of about 5 seconds which caught the motion of the water over the sand.

Mount Teide, Tenerife

sf.jpg

I arrived back from Tenerife this morning and im glad to be back! Had a great 2 weeks in the sun and caught some nice shots on camera. Over the next couple of weeks I will post some of the better and more interesting images on the blog. To start with I have shown a shot from the plane coming into Tenerife of the mighty Mount Teide, which is over 12,000FT high. I found it strange seeing snow on such a hot island but when we went up it was quite cold at that height!
