Captured Moments Photography

Another picture of Dandelions but quite different from the last. There are multiple dandelion heads in this image, I have got down to ground level, looking up at the seeds with the sun as a striking backdrop.

I took this shot last week, it was late in the day and the sun was low, its light fading fast. I love the lighting in this image, its soft and compliments the dandelion. It shadow gently wrapped across the bare trunk of a dead tree.

Rain in spring and summer can often be short and sharp. These leaves are heavily weighed down after a heavy downpour. The rain-droplets somehow hang on and cover the surface of the leaves although the slightest knock sends them trickling over the edge!

I like the contrast of colours in this photograph. I got below the leaf, in an area where the sunlight made a big impact as it back-lit the leaf. The dark background also helps in maximizing its effect.

A mass of leaves on a big Sycamore. Everything is so lush and fresh at this time of year, its a great time to get out and get some excellent photographs that are full of vibrant colours!

I have an intrest in images like this one. I love the mystery behind it, the shapes it creates and the collision of colours.

An instantly recognisable flower! And of course, a name you cant forget! The traditional old ‘Forget me not’ flower. This striking little flower always stands out, its lovely blue and striking yellow centre. A little gem of a flower!

The weather outside is hot and sunny and so it only seems right to bring out some spring pictures! Todays image is of a flower (unknown name to me!) taken in a local garden in the village I live. I like the contrast of the harsh black background to the soft pink of the flower in the foreground.
