Girl on Beach

beachwriting.jpg

This image is of a favourite pastime - writing in the sand with a stick. Again I have simplified the image right down, leaving just the figure and the writing to leave a stark but fascinating image.

Pier

Pier-art.jpg

For this image, I have taken one of the Piers on Blackpool front and then filled in its framework with the image of a sunset sky over the beach, I think the results are quite interesting and creative yet in a simple way.

Big Wheel

Bigwheel.jpg

For anyone who’s been to Blackpool, The Big Wheel is prominent on the front, sat in the middle of Central Pier. Again I have manipulated the image, choosing to close in tight on the wheel and pier and then converting the image to black and white. It leaves a striking silhouette.

Hatched eggs

littlechicksblog.jpg

Spring wouldnt be complete without little chicks hatching! I love the burst of colour that jumps out at you in this image from the bright orange colour of the screaming chicks. There eyes are still un-open and they have already started the fight for life in their un-ending bid for food! I will be keeping an eye on these little fellas…
