What spring is complete without the appearance of Bluebells blossoming out in our countrysides woodlands!? I like the burst of Blue in this image, that distinctive Bluebell blue!

Those are the invasive Spanish bluebell that are pushing the native British bluebell to extinction. Just as the grey squirrel drove the red to extinction. The British bluebell has dark blue flowers on one side only with yellow stamens and small thin leaves no longer than 25cm
