Amazingly this beautifully bursting flower is actually a common weed! It did however make a great subject for photographing and works well in the way the image has been focused.

    Great photo! Makes me want to draw!
    I was having fun googling phrases that sprang to mind, and “bursting flower” was a good (freudian) phrase.
