As we fast approach Christmas I thought i would post a festive image! Taken last year whilst stopping at Huddersfield, a traditional scene of snow on trees! Not long now!!

As I continued my walk i came across this friendly little chap who was going about his daily business of collecting nuts! The floor was moving with squirrels and they have become quite tame. Always a nice sight on a walk!

I took this image on a walk at Stanley Park, Blackpool. The winter sun was low in the sky casting long shadows over the golf course. I took this image from within the trees to give a strong contrast in light.

I wanted to take a shot that was minimal in its subject. I was out for a walk this weekend when i spotted a couple of trees just on the horizon of a new sown field.

Nature but not quite! It is infact water droplets after a rain shower sitting on top of some shiny plastic. The droplets had gathered together to create this rather abstract looking photograph!

Now an Orange flower! Taken on the same day, again it has a similar strong contrast, the dark background giving the flower maximum effect. The hints of blue, green and purple all add a little somthing to the image.
