Ray the Cat

Cat

Thought id post a picture of one of my pet cats today. Hes called ‘Ray’, and hes got a strong personality! He does what he wants, when he wants! We got him this little red “tent” which he adores, but turns very nasty if you try and take it off him!

Tree view

Tree view

I was overwhelmed by the size of some of the trees I came across during a walk in Wales last year (the same day I saw the Dragonfly). In a vain attempt to show the scale of these mighty giants I took a photograph looking directly up the trunk.

Paradise

Paradise

Or as near as i will get to it! This beautiful place in North Wales looked just how I imagine a Paradise to look! The warm sunlight breaking through, the stream running below and the air of spring giving way to summer! Beautiful!

Dragonfly on stem

Dragonfly

I caught this little fella having a rest whilst on a walk in Wales last year on a warm summers day. If you have seen a Dragonfly up close you will know the speed at which they move at, so I was quick in taking this photograph before it shot off again into the air. I am pleased with the detail that has been captured in its wings and body.

Splash!

Splash!

Keeping with the water theme, here is an image of a splash! Admittedly, it’s a man made splash with the help of my father! I like the intensity of the shot however; the individual ripples breaking out on the surface like mini craters. Its one of those shots that literally captures the moment in frozen time.

Pink rose petals

Taken after a heavy shower in summer, the rain drops rest on the pink petals of a rose flower. Theres somthing fresh and pure about rain droplets on plants.
