And of course, a King needs a Queen. Here she is in all her ferocious might! Not too pleased at having her picture taken! It was amazing to be able to get so close to such a magnificent creature.

The King of animals, the mighty Lion! A beautiful animal, hard to believe its an ancestor to my pet cats! (well maybe not Ray!)

Taken whilst on holiday in Tenerife last year, he was sat basking in the sun.

Arrived backed from my holiday in Egypt late last night! Not had chance to sort out photographs yet but will post some images from the trip as soon as I can!

Meanwhile here is a photo from a previous holiday of sunlight breaking through leaves, creating strong colours and a strong focal point.

This is my last post for a week as I fly to Egypt tomorrow morning for a weeks Holiday! Looking forward to the sand, sea and sun, and also some great photo opportunities! See you in a week!

I might just about have done sunsets to death by now, but a nice sunset never hurt anyone. I like the contrasting colours as your eyes move through the picture, from the dark bottom of the beach to the light blue sky at the top.

Gentle wispy clouds after a sunset creating a silhouette of trees and buildings. Every so often some amazing sky scenes happen, you just have to make sure you have your camera handy when they do!

Shape and texture can just about be made out in the dark pebbles as the sun sets on the beach.
Rest assured…I had a go at skimming pebbles across the sea! My maximum was a respectable ‘fourer’!

This being the second image, taken just minutes after the last image, but portraying a very different feel. Phone masts unfortunatly scar the countryside in nearly every corner of the country.

During the end of a walk, the sun was setting and I took the opportunity to take some images. This is one of two images I am going to show, this being the ‘natural’ image.

This hill top came alive when the sunshine hit its face, lighting up the autumn tinted trees.

This commical little fella looks fed up! He had been running around the house playing away but then seem to run out of energy and collapsed onto the sofa!
