An image of the old river light, used many years ago as a signal to boats and ships passing through on there way to the docks at Preston. The light itself stopped working a long time ago but still stands in the old wall with one support still clinging on.

Taken in Wales, the Jackdaw sits on an old Castle wall, its blue eye a striking feature. These are clever birds and are amazing to see in huge flocks as they come into roost at night into woods.
